TESTS

The Tests department ICECON – DI is part of the organizational structure of the Research Institute for Equipment and Technology in Construction ICECON SA as a distinct entity under ICECON jurisdiction, its management beeing asured by a Scientific Director.

The independence and impartiality of its decisions is asured and respected by the ICECON management.

ICECON – DI has in its structure 10 distinctiv laboratories:

• ICECON TEST – Construction machines, equipment, materials and products testing laboratory;
• ICECON LIN – Non destructive tests on concrete structureas testing laboratory;
• ICECON LIF – Floorings testing laboratory;
• ICECON LIF – Interior and external finishings based on plasters and paints;
• ICECON SCIT - Composite systems for thermal insulations on the outside of buildings test laboratory;
• ICECON LIA – Mineral aggregates testing laboratory;
• ICECON LIR- Road structures materials testing laboratory;
• ICECON LDN – Harmful agents determining laboratory;
• ICECON PAZU – Noise and vibrations in urban areas determining laboratory;
• ICECON PTCI- Thermal power of radiators determining laboratory.

Each laboratory is acting as an independent entity, fulfilling the EN 17025: 2005 requirements and its management is assured by a Head of Laboratory.

The Quality Assurance and the Methrology is assured on the Department level, permanently monitoring the activity of the 10 laboratories..

ICECON TEST laboratory is:

• Authorised by the State Construction Inspection as I-st degree Test Laboratory
• Accredited by RENAR (Romanian Accreditation Association) in accordance with SR EN ISO/CEI 17025: 2005
• Recognised by Ministry of Development, Public Works and Housing according to HG 622/2004, through Recognition Certificate nr. 1/03/02.2005 as Conformity Assesment Testing Laboratory
• Notified at the European Commission through Notified Body no. 1803 from 2007, as Conformity Assesment Testing Laboratory
