ROBOTS AND MECHATRONICS IN CONSTRUCTIONS
The department is divided into two divisions, namely:
- Robots
- Mechatronics
• applied researches
- masonry works – constructions finishing robotization and automation;
- three-dimensional decorative elements of buildings and historical monuments emphasizing and electronic archivation;
- automatic devices or computer controlled devices used to perform the following operations:
- pipes anti-corrosion protection after welded connecting;
- composite materials based on glass or carbon fiber and clamping devices for constructions endurance tests;
- fire, flooding or electrocution protection, in the event of earthquakes, by means of automatic closing of the respective supplies;
- two axes dynamic stress experimental simulation;
- concrete and asphalt mixtures putting in place;
- concrete and asphalt mixtures batching, with quality check and continuous monitoring;
- equipments, mechanical structures and mechanisms kinematics and dynamic analysis professional examinations and virtual simulations.
- technical regulations in the filed of robots and automatic equipments for constructions;
- robots for:
- intervention on damaged buildings, due to disasters;
- urban public works inspections and rehabilitation of sewerage system, welding of polyethylene and polypropylene pipes;
- erecting and maintenance of courting walls;
- large-sized concrete platforms works;
- expert examination on bridges for damages estimation.
- C-D-I National Programs within RELANSIN, CALIST, INVENT and AMTRANS
- CEEX Excellence Programs, Module 1 (INFOSOC)
Realized projects
- Checking and maintaining remote-controlled manipulator for sewerage system;
- Welding robot for high-density polyethylene and polypropylene pipes;
